I love Demetri’s comedic style. It’s very accessible, but at the same time, very original. Thank goodness there are comedians like him who are interested in doing more than standing and delivering jokes.

I was glad to see that Demetri got a show that allowed him to continue his brand of comedy, instead of putting him in a sitcom that might be based on a couple of his experiences.

Once again, Bryan Myrick has written an intelligent, well-researched and well-argued article. Last fall I saw a Youtube video of young people in Colorado blowing up a pickup in Pakistan. I was horrified because there was no way to know who was in the pickup. I visualized a man with 2 small children. Since then, I have read with horror about Obama regularly signing orders(licenses to kill). Didn’t he run on a skepticism of our intelligence capability? Is he killing people so he won’t have to protect their “human rights” after his assault on Bush over Guantanamo? What do the people think when a plane flies over and decimates their neighbor’s home? Where do we get intelligence to win the war if we kill those who know the enemy’s plans?

This issue is important to me and I believe the left and right can agree on this. It could change the 2012 election if people start talking about human life and American ideals. I do not believe the American people signed up for indiscriminate killing from a comfortable desk in Colorado. This issue needs to come to the front of the public debate on our nation’s identity and how to protect our security.
