A lifelong resident of Washington State, Bryan Myrick has been an observer of politics and a Reagan Republican since grade school. Having participated actively in aspects of local politics – serving on the Municipal League of King County’s Candidate Review Board as well participating as a member of a policy group examining the effect of money on politics – Bryan now tackles issues from the perspective of a writer and blogger. Bryan’s previous fifteen years of experience as an owner, executive and manager in the field of mortgage finance (clutching his scruples tightly the entire time) inform his analysis of economic and regulatory issues. He also holds a degree in political science and communications from the University of Washington in Seattle.
